Our Family Day

February 14, 2006 was the first day we were a family of 3! That was the day Mark joined Mia and I in Guatemala and we were a family forever. Today we celebrated by just spending lots of fun time together as a family. Luckily it snowed last night so we got to go play in the snow with Daddy! We only got 2-3 inches this time so the girls could actually walk around in it. We are so blessed to have such wonderful little girls and have such a great family!

Not sure why we buy groceries...they prefer snow!

MIA CAN READ!

Mia has started reading "Bob Books"! She is on the 4th one! At school she already learned all the sounds that the letters make and now is working on reading and building words. We are so proud of her!

"Walking in snow, I can't"

The girls were looking at the pictures after we got in from playing in the snow. Lanie said "walking in snow, I can't". She couldn't! She'd try to take on step and topple over! She thought it was hysterical!

Princess Bride

Our friend Andrea gave Mia her vail from their wedding. As you can see Mia is quite enamored with it! She had to wear the princess dress to complete the look!

Mia's first swimming lesson

Mia started swimming lessons at the clinic where I work. She loved it! The teacher was impressed at how comfortable she was in the water. Not surprising since she swims at her sitters in the summer and we were just at the pool in Florida.
