Mia's 3rd Birthday
We celebrated Mia's 3rd birthday a few days early in Chicago with our families. She had so much fun opening her gifts and playing with everything!
This is what happens when both your grandmas are in the room..
you get to eat as much cake as you want!!
Puddle Jumpers
The girls had a great time playing in a puddle at Grandma and Grandpas. Here they were washing the stickers "so they get nice and clean"

We had some family photos taken on Sunday. The photographer's name is Nicole and she did a great job! We found Nicole through an organization called Celebrating Adoption which is "a photographers' organization dedicated to providing beautiful portraits celebrating a family's new adoption".

The Slawikowski's in Duck, NC
We just got back from a great week at the Outer Banks of NC with Mark's family! We stayed in the same house we have gone to for the past 2 years. The girls had a great time with their cousins, aunt, uncle and grandparents! They loved the pool and playing in the sand but werent so sure about the ocean. We all had a great time!
Mia "swimming by herself"
Mia decided that using the noodles still qualified as swimming by herself. She had so much fun racing Daddy to either end of the pool.
